The slopes

Beginners

(Crystal rating 3)

Verbier boasts some lovely, sunny, nursery slopes for beginners just above the village centre and on Savoleyres, with its tree-lined runs down to La Tzoumaz. New 'magic carpet' lifts have been installed in the Esserts beginner area.

Intermediates

(Crystal rating 5)

This huge ski-playground of the Verbier/Mont Fort area offers some of the most varied skiing in the Alps with 206kms of runs served by 43 lifts.

Advanced

(Crystal rating 5)

An absolute paradise, with hundreds of new challenges every day. The Jumbo Mont Fort cable car will take you up to the glacier and the notorious Tortin snow bowl with its phenomenally high bumps from top to bottom.

Snowboarding

(Crystal rating 4)

Verbier has a great domain for freeriders with accessible powder, trees, wide pistes and the Snowpark has 4 lines of jumps and rails. The Verbier O'Neil Xtreme by Swatch Snowboard Contest is held here every year.
