Arinsal is an attractive, compact resort, part of the superb VALLNORD ski area, with significant investment for the 08/09 season, with new, faster chairlifts, improved pistes and extra snowmaking facilities. Take advantage of the fantastic tree-lined runs of neighbouring Pal and the excellent ski area of Arcalis. With an excellent selection of accommodation, Arinsal is a great choice for families, with outstanding free lift pass offers for children and a resort creche for younger kids. This superb area has something for every grade of skier, although it is particularly suitable for beginners and intermediates. The resort also boasts a great atmosphere, with a good selection of small bars and restaurants to choose from.

Family choice
PRE-BOOK the ski school run creche (Babyclub) for children 1-4 years £75 for 5 days x 3 hrs. There is also a Snow garden (4-8 years), snow-play and lessons at the top of the gondola (approx. £75 for 5days x 3 hrs). The slopes
Beginners
Arinsal offers some of the friendliest English-speaking instructors we have ever come across. The gentle nursery slopes are set high enough to enjoy excellent snow conditions throughout the season, and for getting a great sun tan! For absolute beginners, our "First time" package is superb value.
Intermediates
The Cota area at around 7,000 ft offers a variety of red and blue runs and to really test your skills, ski back down to the middle station or take the Les Fonts chairlift for a long, wide downhill run. Pal also has a great selection of long wide reds for perfecting those carving turns!
Advanced
Adventurous skiers can try the steep, exciting runs off the Pic Negre and Pic alt de la Capa for mogul fields. The ski school offers advanced slalom racing and off-piste clinics.
Snowboarding
Arinsal is a perfect place for beginners to get to grips with snowboarding offering great terrain for newcomers. For the advanced rider, there is powder to be found amongst the trees of Pal, the neighbouring resort and a snowboard park in Arinsal to test your skills.
